Kincraig
The pretty Spey Valley village of Kincraig is an ideal base for a wide range of activities. With it's superb setting, Kincraig has activities to cater for all tourists.
Bird life is in abundance in the area. The RSPB own thousands of acres in the area including Insh Marshes Nature Reserve which has recorded over 200 species of birds. Ospreys are nesting 1/4 mile up the river, migrating Mergansers. There are regular fly bys from all at the bottom of our garden!
Spey Valley
The areas around the Spey Valley are a paradise for outdoor activities and for those who appreciate the refreshing Highland air, dramatic scenery and Highland hospitality.
Sports of every kind can be enjoyed from golf, cycling (mountain biking and road) to skiing and fishing to watersports, walking, rock climbing and much more. Skiing and Ice-climbing in the Cairngorms in the winter too, there are great local guides if required.

Walking
The area offers extensive local walks and trails with breathtaking views for all levels of athleticism! We are ideally placed for those completing the newly extended Spey Side Way and East Highland Way.
Fishing
Within half a mile is the beautiful Loch Insh which is a great widening of the River Spey, one of Scotland’s most famous rivers. The River famously provides fishing for salmon and also brown trout and pike. The Ospreys also enjoy fishing on Loch Insh, much to the delight of Bird watchers.
Golf
With an excellent choice of top courses in the are including Scotland’s newest championship golf course Spey Valley in Aviemore

The Highlands
The Highlands has a rich and diverse culture that caters for everyone's tastes and reason for visiting.
We are ideally placed for visits to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, Culloden Battlefield, the Whisky Trail, Monarch of the Glen Country and other famous sites.
Loch Insh
The Loch Insh Outdoor Centre provides windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, open canoeing and river trips.
They also have a dry ski slope, bike hire and tuition is available.
